Add Change Signature in Outlook

It’s easy to add or change signature in Outlook if you know the right path. You can create and add one or more individual signatures for the email on all three Outlook’s platforms which are Outlook web, mobile app, and desktop applications that come with Office 365. By changing the default settings, the signatures are automatically added to all new emails, replies or forwarded. In Outlook, your signature includes text, images, electronic business cards, company logos, or handwritten signatures. You have the option to include certain types of information in your signature, such as a link to your website or blog, a phone number or alternate email address, social media manager i.e, Facebook, Twitter.

Note: You can only have one signature on a single account.

Create and add email signatures in Outlook.com

Outlook.com Inbox is available in two versions: Outlook.com beta and Outlook.com. The instructions for creating an email signature are slightly different depending on whether you are using a traditional Outlook.com or a beta version.

Create and add email signature for classic Outlook.com

1. Log in to Outlook.com and go to Settings> Options> Mail> Layout> Email Signatures.

2. In the text box, type your signature and expand the V drop-down menu to use other formatting options, such as integration, desks, and more.

3. If you would like your signature to appear at the bottom of every new email message you write, select the “Automatically put my auto-write in new messages I write” checkbox.

4. If you want your signature to appear in the message you forward or reply to, select the “Automatically sign my signature on the message I forward or reply” link.

5. After formatting, click Save.

6. To add your signature to the new message yourself, head to the inbox and select New to create a new email address.

7. Now select the V> drop-down menu on the toolbar.

Create and add email signature for Outlook.com beta

1. Log in to Outlook.com and go to Settings> View full settings> Mail> Write and reply.

2. In the Email signature box, type your signature and change the appearance using the available formatting options.

3. If you would like your signature to appear at the bottom of every new email message you write, select the “Automatically put my auto-write in new messages I write” checkbox.

4. If you want your signature to appear in the message you forward or reply to, select the “Automatically sign my signature on the message I forward or reply” link.

5. Click the Save button to add the signature. Done!

6. If you have created a signature, but you have not chosen to add it automatically to every message sent, replied, etc.

7. You can also add your signature to the new message, go to the inbox and select New Message.

8. Type your text, and then select the V> drop-down menu at the bottom of the desktop.

9. When your email message is ready, select Send.

Create and add email signature on Outlook mobile

1. Open Outlook by clicking on the app and logging into your Outlook by entering your Microsoft email address or your phone number and password.

2. Click the three lines in the top left corner of the screen, and click the Settings> Signature button in the middle of the setting.

3. Tap the default signature, then remove and print on your own signature.

4. Tap <For iPhone or Android for Android in the upper left corner of the screen.

5. This will save your configuration and redirect you to the settings page. When you send a new message from Outlook, your mobile device will use your signature.

How to add signature in Outlook

1. To create and add a signature to a message, open a new email and select Signature / Signature from the text menu.

2. Under Select signature to edit, select New, and in the New Signature dialog box, type a name for the signature.

3. In the Edit Signature dialog, you can change the font, color, font size, arrow keys, charts, borders, hyperlink and insert a logo or image using the formatting tool.

4. Under the Initial signature option, set the following options for your signature.

· Email account: Select the email account to associate with the signature.

· New message: If you want your signature to be added to every new message by default, in the New dropdown box, select one of your signatures.

· Replies / Forward: If you want your signature to appear in the message you reply and forward, in the Replies / forwards drop-down, select one of your signatures.

5. To save your new signature, click OK and return your message.

How to change signature in Outlook

If you would like to update the signature details such as telephone number, email address and company address, follow the simple steps listed below.

1. To change the email signature, click File> Options> Mail> Signature.

2. Click the signature you want to edit, and then make your changes in the Signature Edit dialog.

3. When you are done, select Save and click “OK”.
